The Pro 600/700 and Heavy Duty series with all metal gears handle pizza dough with no problem especially the 1000 watt dc motor models. It's literally used commercial pizza and bagel bakery

The Home Artisan & Classic series with nylon gear and pivot head can't handle thick dough over 2 minutes. Lighter dough no problem. DC Mini series is powerful for its size.

Their incomplete fear comment is meant to confuse and raise doubt

What do you mean by "Not recommended for dough making?" My wife has used hers several times for dough and never had an issue.

I am talking about the 10% extra off offer. Without it, the price is not impressive enough to pull the trigger. I've been watching this product for 1 year and I am waiting for $199 deal.

Not recommended for dough making has made me not buy a KitchenAid. Do your research. Just FYI. Great deal if you know you can use a KA.

Ever year KitchenAid keeps the price down despite inflation. I bought a KA like this 30 years ago for basically the same price!

It even comes with a dough hook. Any mixer will perform poorly with mixing dough if you overload it or run it too fast, so I'm curious as well.

What's the difference between this one and $40 ambiano from aldi
I've got the Ambiano and it is a tilt head and 100% plastic construction except the motor, bowl, and where the bowl locks in. It suits my needs since I don't bake tons, but the Kitchenaid is definitely a more premium machine as far as build quality.

The Kitchenaid mini is all metal , one nylon gear, cheap to repair, some have dc quiet motor. You can sometimes find them for $100-140.

Aldi quality is hit n miss
