I don't travel...but it pencils for me to move all my 3-5% chase cards on whatever they're best at to this every November 1.
How often does the gift card deal come around?
I can send the Ipad back unopened, but Amazon/Apple automatically assigns Applecare to your serial number on purchase, so Amazon is telling me I can't transfer the Applecare to a different Ipad and they're being sketchy about whether I can get my money back for the Applecare at all.

$10-$15 per hundred…with gift cards back to the store you buy them from.
I used to do that too. Lots of fraud on gift cards for all the "what could go wrong" folks.
I have heard them too. I suspect those are true, but since you really don't hear success stories of people that got what they expected.
My experience has been positive.
Was thinking of ordering a 15 Pro Max and then canceling or returning if it took an absurd amount of time to arrive or if a much better deal came along while waiting.
Some people don't travel. Plus people have mentioned travel booking through Chase costs more than other sites.
I was waiting for this deal to come by again for the 15 pro and to use up my points.
