Not a chance. That's a two year old tablet. Tab S9 are out.

Plus, there are always deals. I bought the Tab S8 Plus 256gb for $355 last Feb from Samsung, with trade of a crappy Lenovo Tablet.

Wait for BF. Samsung is wild with their deals. I can trade my S8 Plus right now and get the S9 256 for $335… not counting cashbac sites and id.me discounts…

I still think this is one of the best tablets for this price without trade in. I have it and the CPU is the same as the S22U Ultra and still chews thru everything easily. I love the battery life, speakers, etc. Only downside to me is the screen. It is def one of the better LCDs you ll find but its not close to AMOLED on the contrast side. Only reason I'd consider trading in my S8 is bc the S9 added the AMOLED. Other than I have virtually zero complaints about the tablet. It is still a premium product compared to all the budget models out there including Samsungs own A and FE models. Tldr; if you don't have another recent gen Sammy tab to trade in then I think this is still a pretty good price.

This is the basic S8 Tab, not even the Plus. Given its age, and other market alternatives, prior deals, this is a terrible price for this specific tablet. Would be slick for $300-$400.
