Could I get some clarification on how to do this, mentioned below?

"As with previous offers, you should be able to split the premium and premium plus tier into two payments if you have two cards to get Peacock ad-free."
If two people both have the offer added their respective Amex card, charge the Premium $5.99 subscription to card 1, change payment method to card 2, then charge the $6 Premium Plus upgrade to card 2.

I usually will then cancel Premium Plus so I don't accidentally get the Premium/Premium Plus charged to the same card the following month. You basically have to alternate payment method 3 times to get 3 months of ad-free subscription. That's how I did it last year.

Will the 5.99 come off if we link Amex card to PayPal and use PayPal to checkout with Peacock TV
Didn't work for me last year. I think it's because the charge will show Paypal on the Amex bill. It needs to show Peacock to get credited.

First 3 seasons absolutely worth it. After that, it gets comical and borderline ridiculous.

No never utilize Amex offers through PayPal. Even with Apple Pay, it activates with some and not with others so I also use my physical card most of the time or buy online.

Pearson was pretty decent, only one season so far though.

Hmm, I have "Spend $59.99, Get $20 back on Peacock Annual", but not the monthly one.
I got both. I'll just blitz through some content in 3 months if I can get the time.

I goth both offers, and they do stack so 1 year is 59.99 - 20.00 - 5.99 = $34.00 plus tax

They carried the OSU Rutgers game a few weeks ago, so we picked it up. The broadcast quality is excellent. Almost 4k. It even looks better than the NBC feed through YouTube tv when you switch back and forth. Five Nights at Freddie's was entertaining. But after that, we struggled to find much else. We cancelled after a month. YMMV. The price is right for a trial run.

Anyone here who had signed up for Peacock during a promotion having a hard time canceling their subscription? I did this last time when they offered similar deal but can't seem to cancel because I need to do it over google play store. The thing is, I signed up directly from their site using paypal and there's no way for me to add it to my google play account without having to create a new one (which I won't). Thankfully paypal has a system where they will stop payments to a streaming service and notify them but I'm still getting their premium service. I've already called Peacock about the issue and they are not very helpful. I guess I'll keep getting free premium while they get nothing? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good for kids movies—super Mario, shrek, minions, more. Oppenheimer will eventually release here but may be a long time considering Nolan's disdain for streaming.

Yea 3 months is plenty to see what they have. I had it for a year last year and after a couple months was not much worth watching after that.

Mostly bad/cheap TV shows and fake real world/drama junk.

Just did the AMEX $9.99 back a month for HULU + Disney for 6 months, have to look at the my Amex biz card to see if the Peacock deal is on there. Still paying $0.99 per month from last years black Friday deal, and honestly, other then Sunday night football and the occasional new movie...

Thanks

Enjoy the final days of deals on standalone streaming services and being able to pick and pay for just the ones that you want as they're all going to be bought up by a handful of major players and consolidated into cable-like packages at cable-like prices without the possibility of unbundling. The "cable" will eventually be un-cut. I imagine that one of the things that these standalone services are trying to do is drive up subscription numbers even at a loss in order to jack up the price that they'll be able to negotiate in being acquired. This is all being driven by investment bankers, not content creators or streamers. Quality will inevitably suffer when that happens, along with prices going up, as consolidators try to pay down those acquisitions by maximizing profit by increasing prices while cutting corners on production.
