Yep. Bought this because I got tired of dealing with gas, transferring clothes, etc.

I was very surprised at how well it worked. But of course, temper your expectations.

You can't FULLY load it. And expect things to dry completely.

I do smaller loads, which is still quite a lot compared to my old GIANT Maytag top loading.

It's quiet, efficient and it's dry when it's all done. The app notifies when it's 5 minutes away from being done. And when it's actually done.

The clothes come out damp feeling but when you expose it to air, it just dries up completely. Weird. But true.

And the clothes are nice and soft. I think the best part is the 32oz of liquid detergent. I set it to auto. And I can do a decent amount of loads.

12-15. Depending on the clothes.

One thing…I did buy a dedicated small battery Ryobi vacuum It makes it easier to vacuum the lint after 1-2 laundry.

Remember. The cleaner the lint basket is. The dryer the clothes come out. So I've made it a habit to just do it every 1-2 loads.

Regular clothes don't produce much lint. It's the blankets, towels and bathroom floor rugs that do.

Just things to consider and think about. I've had it for about 6 months. I'm happy.

I considered putting a second one side by side to do more laundry. Since they do sell a Y site connector for the water intake. But…I'm happy with the one.

I ended up just putting full wall cabinets where the old dry er used to be.
This uses a heat pump to generate heat and remove moisture. So the drying effect is similar to the evaporator in your home AC system, in that it pulls moisture from the air and just sends it to the drain without needing to vent externally. Pretty neat setup, and the reviews I've seen online seem positive about the tech. It also uses MUCH less electricity than a standard dryer. Like 1/4 per load vs. traditional dryer with heating element.
If you are a first responder or government employee, GE offers a 20% discount through their website using ID.me. Their listed price is $2,199, but after the discount shows as $1,759.20 with free shipping (not including your local tax).

Anyone with this able to comment on the ability to wash and dry a king size comforter? I have one of those newer top loaders that I don't think does a good job washing clothes and the dryer never seems to be able to dry a load in one cycle.

My theory of comforters is to let the dryer so as much of the drying as possible and you then spread the comforter out to air dry the leftover moisture. Comforters are particularly hard for a dryer to calculate the amount of remaining moisture because it is one big garment that can be mostly dry but have a damp patch in the middle. In any case, front loaded dryers are more likely to dry a comforter because the tumbling action is more likely to likely to move it around than the rotating action of a top loader dryer.

Exactly one year ago Costco delivered our $399 4.5 cu ft Whirlpool front loader with steam clean. Free delivery set up including hoses. It works incredibly well in spite of the really bad ratings which most likely were user-error. I'd look for a similar deal before blowing 2K on a washing machine but buy it if its right for you.

Does NOY dry AT ALL!! read the fine print a cycle to wash and dry is 8-14hrs something ridiculous. You might as well hang dry. If you try to just to dry it s not going to happen. It starts cycle all over again by getting clothes wet again. I contacted LG many many times and got terrible response. It is NOT a dryer was the upshot! I ended up returning and buying much cheaper front loader washer and small electric dryer on a wheel around base with a vebnt with filter on it if cold can vent into a room to help heat or can be vented into a window.
Why are you commenting about a LG product on a GE product post??

Your low end washer wasn't also a dryer. This is priced around a mid range combo unit.

Like I said buy this if it's right for you. If 50% off makes something "low end" then reserve a space for me in the trailer park.

If it's 50 percent off then the mark up on your units were too high.

How long does the dry cycle take?

What is the point of your post? That Costco Whirlpool model was front page here for $399. Today's price is $960 at Best Buy. You don't need to justify your $2k purchase for this deal to me. Others might set an alert for a Costco deal.
