Rarely do I buy directly from AMC Theatres website or Atom Tickets, unless there's a specific promo / freebie that requires it purchased from there.
Usually, every 5,000 points, you can convert $5 to bonus bucks. As a Stubs Insider, you can only use bonus bucks towards concessions. As a Stubs Premiere member, you can use bonus bucks for concessions or tickets.

$5 Tuesdays: Regular showings of movies are roughly $5.50 per ticket(varies by region) while premium format movies (IMAX, Dolby Atmos, 3D) get $5 off per ticket.
The benefit of having a paid membership is that you can order tickets online and waive the online "service" fee, which is like ($2.50?) per ticket and your earned points don't expire. I just noticed that they changed it so even the free tier can bypass the service fee if you buy 4+ tickets, which I don't believe was the case before.

The nice thing is that you get upgrades to soda and popcorn.
How it works is you order the size (e.g., LARGE), and the register charges you for the size below.
Likewise, you get refills on both.
I bring ziplocs in the car. I refill my popcorn, add butter, and then go to the car. I dump the popcorn in the gallon ziploc and head home. It may take 2 ziplocs. I highly recommend you do this unless you have a passenger who will hold the bucket or you'll get popcorn spilled in your car.
Lastly, buy 1 share of AMC stock. ~$10/share

Surcharges will apply to premium format experiences, including Dolby Cinema, IMAX®, PRIME, RealD® 3D and D-Box. And please note, advance purchases made on Tuesdays for any other day of the week are not eligible for the benefit.
