This thing is TOTAL TRASH.
It has a slight delay, even with simple analog aux, especially to the trash wireless "subwoofer".
"The crossover is screwed up" this is an UNDERSTATEMENT. How can I describe it... with the bass all the way down, the "sub" is still too loud and while it plays lows (sh!tty "mid boomy" lows) it passes everything else thu, and kills everything coming from the bar. If this thing was free I *might* use it over a cheap TV's internal speakers with the sub unplugged. (okay I take that back.. no I wouldnt)
Im hardly an audiophile, but I do have some exp with both expensive (generally nice) and ghetto fraken-setups.
Its almost worth eating the $50 as a loss just to take this thing out to the field with baseball bat office space style... almost.
Return line here I come! Its already re-boxed and sealed, basically looks new (not that the Walmart people would notice/care)

Is it easy to use and operate? Some comments hear started that you need to use its own remote to change the volume. This would be very inconvenient.
Yes, the TV in question is a Hisense from Black Friday 2019 that has an HDMI ARC port.
Better sound quality and better price
Connected to 65" Hisense via HDMI ARC
Automatically syncs with TV remote
No issues so far
Edit: I compared this against the JBL 2.0 watching different scenes from The Equalizer 3 and this TCL wins on sound quality hands down imo. Currently watching Oppenheimer with the TCL and for $49 it is worth it for what it is.
The speakers in the TV are useless.
This unit was a game changer. I can fully hear my sports now. The little box provides enough bass. I would say as a casual, this was a no brainer and super glad I did it. Plenty loud. Plenty clear. A little bass for the music during commercials and transitions. I connected it via HDMI. If you're a casual. Looking for better sound without spending any real money. I think this is great.
5x better than the clock radio speakers that came on the TV.
Anyone has this setup to connect to TV via Bluetooth?

The subwoofer feels cheap and is the lightest I've ever had, even lighter than computer subwoofers.
Not bad for $49, but I think it was designed from the start to be a $49 Black Friday special given an identical-looking TCL model has a $59.99 suggested price on their website.
