One of the reviews said you have to adjust volume on the soundbar itself, not controlled by remote?!

I bought this for a small room and audio is fine. My issue is the rear speakers broadcast all channels along with rear. Makes this a glorified stero experience with some flare. Extremely disappointed.

Anyone else have that issue? I use a hdmi audio extractor mainly but brought a TV down to test with same result using the optical pass through.
