Amazon has two pages for this item. One says "List: $31.88" and the other says "Typically: $18.99" so of course the link goes to the page that makes it seem like a better deal. SD sketch lately with all the non-deal deals.

Totally didn't picture electric tool before reading the details. When I read the title, I was wondering how cold it would have to be to need an insulated knife....
For those moments when you are too lazy to shut off the breaker before cutting the wire.
The electrical arc (if cutting live wires) can still make a nice dent in the blade, now if only they used ceramic blade that would have been a different story.

Yuup been going this way for the past few years sadly. We the people used to try & find us deals & save us money, but then companies & posters get bought so these new "deals" really aren't deals at all bc the "sale" price is really just the regular price it basically hovers at. SMH
How often do you really work on live sheathed romex? Enough to carry an entire knife dedicated for that purpose? trying to justify this. I feel like it's easier to just throw on my gloves that I use for everything else in that situation. Never been shocked on 120 w regular work gloves unless like a frayed strand of stranded wire pokes through.
If you are working on Romex, this knife isn't for you
I love the picture. This is insulated to 1000 volts and the picture is cutting speaker wire. Must be one hell of a sound system! (not that that the wire is rated to 1000 V)
