Been swapping for years. Basically just switch between parties at same location via different emails and can even use different CCs if you wish. Doesn't matter even if other party is second, just can't go primary party to primary party w/o it being a renewal or breaking the listed rules. Same applies to Sam's Club.

It can make it messy, but as long as you keep proof of the membership number it was purchased under, never been a problem. They don't say can't return just because your membership is expired and don't have to have a current one to return stuff. Pro tip: Take pictures of reciepts as they often fade and while it isn't a big deal if bought under current membership, it makes it difficult if you do get new number every 12-18 months.

I got "Sorry, we are experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.". I tried to chat membership C/S but they said they cannot deal with promo codes and to go to the warehouse.

Edit: tried again online the next day and it works now. Waiting now for $40 card.

My wife is an add-on member on my account. Her account is cooled down for 18 months already. Can we remove her from add-on and buy this deal and make her the main account holder? And later I will get added as the add-on member? Would that work?

Been having issues with redemption. Technical difficulties and then another message I can't recall at the moment. Tried renewing my wife's membership that expired 3 years ago and tried as a new membership - no dice. Wife went to the warehouse today and they couldn't help her with the printed off email, since they needed my "receipt"

Pro move- Make sure you sign up (redeem)beginning of month. Your membership will be good for 13 months since memberships expire last day of month you sign up in. .

Just buy a bunch of $10 cash cards. You will be good for years. Don't need a membership with a cash card in store.

I figured out what happened with my code. I had attempted to add the code to my wife's long-lapsed/expired membership. It did not meet the requirements.

I opened a new Incognito tab, and tried with a new email address. When I entered the code... I received the dreaded "technical difficulties" message that many of us have gotten. I waited, and waited - and kept trying. No luck.

I went BACK to my wife's page, and the code was STILL attached to her cart, despite the code not working/meeting requirements. I REMOVED THE CODE from the cart, by pressing the "X" button.

Went back to my Incognito page, and hit submit..... it worked.
