Pampers baby dry is the best we've tried, but they are expensive. I'm considering getting these to try them out though.

Each kid is different, but don't stock up on 1 & 2. You might also need a box of n, which Kirkland does not have AFAIK. By the time you are ready for size 3 there's likely going to be another sale.
Everyone says you don't need many newborn size but it depends is what I'd like to say.
My first one we needed quite a few. Lost a few pounds in first week.
My second one is a month old and I'm almost through my 2'nd box and will be ordering a 3rd box. Some nights are bad. It's feed shit feed shit. Shitting as I wipe up. Shitting as I stick the Velcro. Fun times.

I have a 18 month old. We use Kirkland or Sam's and they work just fine. We use Huggies overnights at bedtime. Highly recommend an Ubbi diaper pale as well.

We are expecting our kid on Nov 28 when on sale how many boxes is a good idea ??
I'd suggest get at least 2 of each of the initial sizes.
They can always be returned. In fact one time I got one too many of a size 3 when I repeat ordered in my sleep. The warehouse folks were really nice and themselves suggested holding onto them and returning when my baby outgrows them. This was in 2021 before the diapers went up in price.

My son will be 17 months this week and we've been using these diapers exclusively since we ran through all the free diapers we got from family and friends. No complaints at all. We haven't had very many blowouts and we've had no pee leakage. They don't have that chemical perfume smell either which is great. You can't beat the quality at this price. They go on sale a few times a year, so enlist the help of anyone you know with a membership and no babies so they can order the limit and you can stock up.

I do the same, kirklands for day and Huggies overnight.

Completely disagree with the ubbi pale, what a literal piece of trash. Doesn't hold the smell in at all, and the inside "flap piece" continuously molds after I bleach and disinfect every other week.
Diaper genie on the other hand has been amazing and way more hygienic and actually traps the smell and not a drop of mold ever.

As mentioned above, these are Huggies production
They have a little "flap" at the back end which keeps from "blowing out" up the back.
Definitely worth it!

I did use Pampers until size 2 because my first kid (now 6) developed severe diaper rash and Pamper was suggested by our Pediatrician. So for my second one, we just went with Pamper until size 2. But from size 3, I use these (or Huggies, they are same) diapers, they are really good.

Dad here. Best deal in the biz. It's Huggies on sale or Kirkland for my 3 kids. When Kirkland is on sale it's like a gift!

If Huggies work well for you, then you probably will be good with this brand. They're made at the same production facilities as Huggies, but have the Kirkland brand name on them. We used them with our little one and never had any issues.
We use them all the time, good quality and reasonable price when on sale.

It's Grade A on Absorption, leakage, comfort, and durability.

If eco friendly is your focus such as TCF (Total Chlorine Free), and other sustainability factors with cost not being a factor then I'd go with Coterie.

I've done extensive research on diapers and I chose Kirkland for an overall pick. The book "Moms on Call" recommends it as well.

Great value! Not to be compared with other store brands.

New dad here too. 2 kids. Get the cheapest diaper you can find. Get them on sale. To me Costco quality is great. I usually get Amazon Mama Bear, Huggies, and Costco diaper. Which ever go on sale. Costco for overnight as it store more urine. Mama bear for during the day and day care. With proper timing and understanding of your kids schedule, any diaper should do well during the day. If money is not an issue, feel free and get pampers.
