I received my P12 yesterday and spent some time exploring its features. When placed next to my S7 10.1", the P12's size is quite impressive. The affordable price, coupled with its large screen, was the primary reason for my purchase. With the addition of a keyboard, it serves as a convenient laptop substitute for basic tasks like checking emails online.

However, I've noticed that the P12 lacks some functions that are available on the S7, or perhaps I haven't discovered them yet. For instance, the S7 has a screen sharing function, but it appears that I need to sign up for a Lenovo account to access similar features on the P12.

I wasn't expectin much but man this thing is slow and lags like crazy. Really noticable. I am a power user but I didn't get this for myself. Got it as a xmas present for a friend who I hope can deal w/ the lag but it's very noticable. However, this is just first boot up and setup so maybe the update it'll be better but as of now, it's unacceptable. Just scrolling you can feel the lag. The display is very nice but the lag kills it.

Considering this or a similarly priced iPad 9th Gen for my kiddo. Thoughts on best option? We prefer the android experience but are not tied to it. Kids are coming from aging fire tablets.

Exactly my question, kid is asking for taking notes and nothing more intensive usage. why not get this iPad for the same price? I'm sure hardware wise iPad will outlast Lenovo, isn't it?

Based on my research, pay $100 more for the Pixel Tablet or a bit more for the Xiaomi Pad 6. For a kid, you can easily get away with the Lenovo M10 though!

A) 12.7" vs 10.2" display
B) This comes with a stylus and adding the Apple pencil would be another $100 or so

If one already owns an Apple pencil and doesn't care about screen size, then it might be a tough choice. If one is looking for the cheaper option and needs a large screen, then this deal is tough to beat.

Ordered for Grandma. under 300 shipped, expected by November 15. She is old and can use the hell out of a tablet, but cant use a laptop, so this will fit well. Large screen, perfect.
