For what it's worth extreme milk chocolate is better than double rich chocolate by a mile.
I've probably consumed at least 100lbs between the two and I disagree. Double rich chocolate is more subdued/less sweet which honestly is what I want in my protein powder. Most chocolate powders have this cloying nasty sweetness, and double rich is the best I've had because it doesn't.

Oh man I LOVE double rich chocolate and it's the first protein powder that I actually like and doesn't taste protein-y to me, so I can't imagine how much better extreme milk chocolate could be. I know taste is subjective though. And I'm worried that it wont be.

Plenty of studies linking artificial sweetener use to various cancers. If you only use this stuff once a week or so no big deal. If you are using it daily this becomes more of a concern. Nothing tin hat about being careful about what you are putting in your body.

Here is just one peer reviewed paper published last year: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/...MC8946744/

Of course you can always ignore the science and take advice from Joe Rogan if that makes you feel better.
I looked into this study you linked as I'm always curious of artificial sweeteners though I still consume:

"In the present study, the fact that no difference was detected between the categories 'higher artificial sweetener consumption and sugar intake below the official recommended limit' and 'no artificial sweetener consumption and sugar intake exceeding the recommended limit' suggests that artificial sweeteners and excessive sugar intake may be equally associated with cancer risk."

TLDR: it seems like excessive sugar intake and excessive intake of artificial sweeteners both show a correlation to higher risk for cancer.

In addition, obesity is a factor in most cases to higher risk of cancer, though even with this in mind there was still a higher risk of cancer with excess sugar/artificial sweetener intake for those who were not obese.

I heard strawberry is one of the worst flavors from almost every thread. I tried it myself and it was ok if you pinch your nose
I've ordered it before and it's very weak in flavor. Honestly, I've never been impressed with any of ON's flavors. I know they get reviews for their transparency, but BSN's strawberry is much better IMO.

I wish this company would make a lima bean flavor. I add my own but it's just not the same.

I bought vanilla ice cream and it tastes just like vanilla ice cream.

Their vanilla pre-made shakes taste like trash.
I'm currently on my 2nd 5lb batch of vanilla ice cream. It's fantastic for the price.

This is the exact reason I love Double Rich Chocolate. It's more like a darker hot cocoa flavor than chocolate milk or a chocolate bar.

I have not tried Extreme Milk Chocolate, but have tried their Chocolate Peanut Butter and it's just too sweet tasting. I will say it's better than Ascent Chocolate and Dymatize Gourmet Chocolate, which are both far too sweet and have that sugar substitute flavor, but Double Rich Chocolate beats their Chocolate Peanut Butter by a mile.

Anyone tried the strawberry before? How does it taste? As a reference I am a huge fan of Nesquik strawberry milk. Haven't had it since college since it's not healthy but if this protein tastes anywhere close to it, I might get a bag.
Good with almond milk, tastes like strawberry milk. Absolutely ass with water tho. Like really comically bad. But it's cheap and all I care about is protein so whatevs.

I got it one time and had to throw away the container. Strawberry was terrible. I've drunk a lot of Protein over the years, but Strawberry is where I draw the line.

Tastes just like melted vanilla ice cream to me.
Cool, I've had the chocolates only for a while, I ordered the vanilla. Worst case, I'll hide it in some yogurt.

Thanks!

As someone who enjoys ON vanilla ice cream flavor, how does this compare? Worth the savings to try something new or should I stick with vanilla for $12/lb at Costco?

Personally I prefer their undelicious Strawberry. The delicious is too sweet.
