what makes the deal "slick" is the ability to use Target Red Card or a Discover CAred to get a cah back bonus on the purchase of the GC.
Plus, if you use your dioscover card for the rest of the purchase, you are getting cashback on that part.
If you are a first year Discover member/cardholder, your cash back is doubled.
Apple GC SELDOM go on sale.
In years past, the summer student discount with purchase of a mac or ipad was a free ipod, then a $150-200 GC. Now its just the $100 GC.
Point bing, we have to take what we can get. The deals aren't as SLICK as they used to be.

Also there were frauds with these physical in-store cards, and it was suggested to compare the codes in them before purchase. I'd recommend checking last year's thread for details.
So maybe you can as long as you haven't already applied the balance to your Apple ID?
You should contact Apple customer service to make sure though.
