The Bosch is gravity rise which means it raises itself into position when you lock it. I have the ridgid and you need to manually lift it up. The gravity rise is nice, but I don't think it's worth $150 more. This combo for $600 is a great deal though.

The bosch saws do not have a shadow line - you can add one for ~$15 if you look on youtube to do it. The difference between the two saws is 778 has angle adjustment in the rear and shadow line, bosch has angle adjustment in the front and no shadow line.

This is a great deal if you need the stand and saw unless you get employee pricing.

Yeah I've been looking at that, but the wheeled stand is a big deal for me as I have very limited space in my mini balcony work area. Also I think the glide system will help me save a ton of space!
