Had these and they were a huge downgrade in sound quality to a set of emotiva 4s monitors they replaced. Also quality was lacking, cabinets made of plastic. Save your money and get something else.

I'd rather get used Martin Logans.monoprice does not know how to make good speakers. Seems like this is a Frankenstein built from random components

Yeah, they tried to fit too many features at a price point but these speakers do not excel at anything.

The bass is really weak for a 5" woofer, the 4" emotiva woofers pounced on them with way better detail and lower bass. Plus they got louder.

Also, the distortion.... sound is muddy and distort at like 60% volume. Most likely the low quality AB amps in these.

These were only really acceptable at really low volume. In that case just get a cheap bluetooth speaker.
