Note: The linked 2TB (NEM-PA) has dedicated DRAM, and runs extremely cool (much cooler than the overheating samsung, crucial, and hynix have struggled with) compared to its competition.

In contrast, the 4TB without HS will run quite a bit hotter than the NEM-PA version based on limited reviews available

Both the 2TB and 4TB versions have 2GB of DDR4 cache.

So you're saying a SSD w/heatsink runs cooler than one without? Confused

Just highlighting that it lacks on and will be hotter, yes - for those who may overlook the difference between the two models.

For the first part: NEM-PA with a heatsink runs far cooler than the other brands listed assuming their own HSinks ARE installed.

How thick are these with the heatsink? I doubt they'd fit into a laptop.

I bought the 2TB one and it works perfectly fine on my PS5. Nextorage is a company created by ex-Sony employees solely for making super fast ssd storage for next generation consoles...

you can buy m.2 heatsinks for cheap, it's not a big deal.

a lot of motherboards actually need ones without heatsinks, because they come with heatsink covers. ie my rog hero comes with little metal boards that basically act as heatsinks for any ssd that slips under them. just FYI for those buying for pc because you might actually NOT want to get the hs model.
