Good price on last year's maxed out model with the 'P' processor, especially if you can stack other discounts and cash back offers.
I'm not a gamer and more interested in battery life and single thread performance, so hoping to find the Gen11 with the 'U' processor and 32GB for under $1K after big cashback later this month.
I got this one today. Coming from a Thinkbook I miss the Thinkpad keyboard. At work, I use a Gen 9 and love it. 32GB of RAM might be overkill but you can't get enough RAM these days. SSD can be swapped which is nice.
Only concern is the P vs U processor, / battery life, etc.
I was about to pull the trigger on a X1 carbon Gen 11 on Lenovo's website (32GB RAM / 1TB SSD P/N 21HM002GUS) but didn't want to spend $500 extra (even though that's a 13th gen i7 U vs a 12th gen P on this deal).
