I own one of these. In fact I'm looking at it right now. I am possibly not using it right but it does a great job vacuuming but nothing else. It does come apart to clean it but the liquid dispenser gets clogged on mine all the time. I don't think I would pay even $50 for a replacement. I use a Shark vacuum and a Swiffer with microfiber head and that is a much better system in my opinion. Yes it's two separate tools but at least things are getting clean. My floors are a waterproof composite and I have three cats and a small dog.

I'm just not impressed with this expensive machine. This idea has been tried many times (vacuum and mop in one) but I don't think it has been perfected.

I do like how it disassembles so it can be cleaned though. Of course others will have their own opinion but this is just my experience.

This is less than what I paid for mine though.

Don't forget to add, it's a heavy machine if you're just going to use it for vacuuming vs a Dyson

I own 2 of these for past 3 years. They are doing decent job cleaning tile floors. Use right solution, change filter and brush roll when needed
Of course you can do it better by hand moping, but i am to lazy.

I have one and tried using it to spot clean carpets. I was really disappointed. It really doesn't do anything particularly well imo. Just a fancy higher maintenance swiffer.

I have and use this almost daily now, formerly had a Tinneco similar device, and the Crosswave is far superior. It is not a carpet cleaner like some complain about, but is perfect for hard floors and smaller rugs. 4.4 stars on 23K Amazon reviews. This is a great price but Sams has one for $159 and it includes: "This Bissell Crosswave all-in-one multisurface cleaner comes with five brush rolls, three bottles of cleaning solution and a self-cleaning storage tray, providing all the tools needed to start washing and vacuuming your floors." These extras are worth a lot more than $40.

I have wooden floors and stone in the kitchen. This thing does an amazing job cleaning my floors, especially in the kitchen.

All the spills and oil splashes get mopped up. All the crumbs get sucked up. Dried stains require slow passes.

This thing is amazing. I bought it refurbished on eBay by Dyson

I don't see why anyone would want something else.

I however would get the cordless if I thought the extra cost is justifiable

I use a Hoover Floormate to clean 1,500 sq ft of tile floors and it works fairly well. It picks up about 75% of the solution that it sprays and picks up quite a lot of dirt. I've been looking at the Crosswave and this is the best price for a new unit that I have ever seen ... but the reviews/feedback that I read here lead me to believe that I should stay with the Hoover.

Bought this and received a green one instead of what is on the website. Took it out and 30 minutes of using it and it sucked up barely any water and it remove anything off the floor, only pushed it around. Took it back to walmart in less that 1hr of having it. Seems like the crosswave is just an advertising thing. it just doesnt work.

I have mostly tile flooring with lots of dust and sand tracked into the house. I vacuum with my Dyson and use this to mop afterwards. It covers 1500 sqft of tile with a single bottle, and is WAY quicker than mop and pail.

What are people using for DIY cleaning solution? I've been pouring straight Fabuloso in there, but despite the great smell, it tends to streak and is a bit sticky.

Reminder each home has a different level of cleaning. If you have pets and clean less than everyday you should sweep/vacuum first and then use the machine. I still wash baseboards and corners by hands and just do the middle. I also do multiple swipes over the area in different angles. Still have to get stuck on things scraped off but in general it does save your back and does a decent job when you take your time. Always clean it after including changing the roller.
