Important to note that if you choose reloadable card instead of debit or credit, you must spend $50 first before you get a $50 credit.

Lots of exclusions, but you could use the coupon to buy groceries and then use the $50 you would have spent on groceries to buy the item you want

If this is a coupon like last time, you could double dip by using it in store while checking out online right after you check out.

personally i wouldn't apply for a credit card just to get $50. too many hard pulls and/or new accounts aren't good for your credit score
My credit score is 767. I lose a couple points but they come back in a month or 2. Most of my credit accounts are 10+ years old, I'm not really worried about this silly little inquiry. I'm certainly not financing anything big any time soon

Just read this quickly. Busy day. If you already have a Red Card can you use a different debit or credit card or different bank account to get a new Red Card or do they know it's you and will deny that? I forgot how it works. Thanks.

Do they run a credit check for the debit card?
They didn't do a credit check when I just applied for the debit card since the money comes from my bank account.

Considering that SSN's are needed for these cards, I assume you'd get auto rejected applying for a duplicate one.

I had no trouble cancelling the reloadable and reapply a couple days later & got approved twice already.

But there is no coupon on "Reloadable" so you can't double dip. AFAIK, I did the reloadable and had to deposit at least $60 in the account. You gotta remember, the total has to be $50+ after 5% redcard discount, otherwise, they will not credit $50. And doing the return, the funds is not clear until a couple days later so you can't really use it immediately.

It's a hassle but free $50 is free $50.

Yes to both. However, credit cards will be a credit hard pull and reloadable is not.

You can use the coupon online and in-store so it's really $100

I just applied for and was approved for a debit card, which should be coming in the mail. Any idea when I can expect to receive the $50 credit/coupon? Will I receive an email or will it just show up in my Target Circle offers?
