But seriously, don't buy this if you think it's going to make things "easy". You still have to put in actual work with it. If you're not tired after using it, you probably didn't need it in the first place.
This tiller is a damn good tiller.

While it's apart, lubrication and rotating the inner blades for better aeration wouldn't be a bad idea.
"Thanks for your interest in the Snow Joe Factory Outlet. We offer products in the following conditions:
(Each listing may vary, please check the items details)
Manufacturer refurbished
An item that has been professionally restored to working order by a manufacturer or manufacturer-approved vendor. This means the product has been inspected, cleaned, and repaired to meet manufacturer specifications and is in excellent condition. This item may or may not be in the original packaging. See the seller's listing for full details."
This may be a way to circumvent eBays item condition guidelines, or at least is confusing and misleading. eBay listing says new, then they put this in their own listing template. I'm guessing it is refurbished.
My area is hard impacted red clay soil with loads of crabgrass and the tiller just seemed to want to bounce ontop instead of dig in.
It would probably be fine for smaller areas with looser soil or to amend soil.

they are just listing all the conditions they sell, manufacture refurbished just happens to be the first. The description of the item condition says new, there is no misleading or confusion, just need some reading comprehension

Used mine for many random projects. Grading random areas of the yard, removing grass, a 10x12 shed base, and most of all tilling a 50'x40' garden.
This thing powered through it all. A neighbor even bought their own after borrowing mine.
If there are a lot of roots or rocks, you will have to stop to dislodge them from the tines.
