Edit: oh wait - this is the g6 and vid is for g5. Anyone confirm similar for g6 upgrade?

Not a good deal for only $100 off. You will be able to get a 4070 for this price for BF, might as well wait.

This seems about $100-$150 too high to be a good deal. There is a similar model (G5) for $750 at Best Buy right now. This G6 has a better panel, which is good since the G5 one seems pretty horrible, but that looks to be the only significant difference. CPU in this G6 should be ever so slightly faster, but it still has the low power 4060, which is probably only a tad faster than a full power 4050. For this price, the HP Victus at Costco looks like a better deal, but still isn't amazing.
