While $100 for 24aH worth of batteries is a good deal, the stand alone unit with no batteries for $650 seems really overpriced.

Waay over-priced. Got my 40v equivalent on clearance for $325, from DTO. Now THAT was a SLICKDEAL..

In case anyone is interested, it's the PBP007 batteries, which are HP.

Same, and i got all the 40v batteries as extras buying their 40V stuff for cheap. Like their 40v blowers i go for $80 and it came with a 4Ah 40V battery new
