I actually just bought it after finding the zip coupon. It brough it down to $1645 after tax. Not a bad deal but I keep the box close till the end of Black Friday in case I find a better deal so I can return for free haha!

I think Newegg will price match if you decide on the same model later.

Isn't that going to be hassle to return with zip?

Do not have any previous experience with zip but this is from Newegg zip faq:

How do returns, refunds, and partial refunds work?
As soon as Zip is notified of the return, our customers are refunded the amount they've paid to-date and Zip cancels all future payments. In the event of a partial refund, scheduled installments are reduced/cancelled first, and then paid installments are refunded.

Its a full powered 4080 and the CPU does not bottleneck and its VR Ready. I would say for spending this much money you need to watch a review on YT or some review websites and do your own research.

A 4080 laptop gpu is around a 4070 desktop. Screen quality is not that good vs. a Legion/Alienware/Helios but this is the cheapest Brand laptop with 4080.

A 4080 laptop with terrible low res, low color gamut display that is typically seen on a 600-$700 budget gaming laptops? Who makes these decisions?

That display is a waste of a 4080. Terrible color gamut and response time.

Agreed. And only 1080p also. Gotta have 1440p for a 4080.

Well, we're talking about an i9 12900h with a 4080 full power for U$1600, they had to cheap out on something and usually the screen is the first to get axed. For those who plan to get this as a desktop replacement, with external monitors, it's a really decent deal.
