Instead of instigating fear mongering maybe provide actual insight on what might be the issue in the ingredients (there doesn't seem to be anything major in my opinion)

Is this online only? My Sam's club does not carry these. Hell they stopped stocking egg whites recently.

I don't like the chocolate deluxe. Still edible, but I always eat those last and question if I want to buy another variety back

Good bar I eat daily. High protein, low sugar and ~200 calories. I typically have one for my lunch and it keeps me full for ~5 hours.

I'm usually pretty tolerant when it comes to protein bars but can't stand the texture..

Sucralose
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/f...23.2213903
Found your link informative.

"Sucralose-6-acetate is an intermediate and impurity in the manufacture of sucralose, and recent commercial sucralose samples were found to contain up to 0.67% sucralose-6-acetate. Studies in a (SINGLE?) rodent model found that sucralose-6-acetate is also present in fecal samples with levels up to 10% relative to sucralose which suggest that sucralose is also acetylated in the intestines.

The amount of sucralose-6-acetate in a single daily sucralose-sweetened drink MIGHT far exceed the threshold of toxicological concern for genotoxicity (TTCgenotox) of 0.15 µg/person/day."

So, we're supposed to stop eating things with artificial sugar, sucralose that may have a 1/6th chance per (gram?) in changing to a toxic form during food processing; or a 10% chance when examining our fecal matter?

But how long does it take to develop health problems from these changes that occur during our digestive system of sucralose?

How much is being absorbed and damaging our DNA?

If you already know you'll die of cancer; does a little digestive system problems matter?

This same study found also that Sucralose itself is transformed by up to 10% of its weight into Sucralose-6 acetate by your gut as well, so the amount is way higher than the trace amounts of Sucralose 6 acetate found in Sucralose itself

I ate one of the double chocolate bars yesterday. I couldn't finish it for a quick breakfast and saved half for Monday. It tasted fairly good and had a surprisingly soft thick chew to it. This and a ONE Blueberry Cobbler 20g protein bar were both rather good, but for breakfast I found they're best to eat only half at a time.

I usually have a 13-15g Atkins protein bar for lunch. So, these will go a longer way compared to those.

The chances of a person getting some type of cancer is pretty high, but it won't necessarily be the cause of death. If I was definitely dying of cancer, I wouldn't avoid real sugar at all. I'd eat all the things, especially the good things, not protein bars.

Yes, that's what I wrote in the fecal matter examination.

But the underlying question is how much is being absorbed and how destructive is it being long term to our DNA structure in the intestines that it says it's harming?

Also, cancer probably gonna get me first. So, to each their own. 👍✌️

Not helpful for brain 🧠 cancer. Not enough fuel to live on regular food. You still feel like you're starving. Which leads me to gorging on food, which leads to a gut size I've never had on my slim body. Since I don't have endless income, I have to make due on large quantities of protein and fat. Best I've found are protein bars and such. Gotta live with the sucralose I guess.
