OP, please update to include Zippay's $6.00 origination loan fee

Bought it, thanks OP!

Full disclosure, the OP does state you must use ZipPay which does 4 payments with no interest and no hard pull (does a soft pull) but they charge a $6.00 loan origination fee. You can also use a credit card without any additional fees (some loans force you use a checking account and/or debit)

You're killing me smalls! I bought the i5/8GB RAM for $599, then the i7/16GB RAM went on sale for $699 so I returned the i5 and got the i7 and now this one. While this i9 has only a minor jump over the i7 you also get double the HD space and it's only $75 more...Hmmm

Vivobooks are all plastic, Zenbooks have an all-metal built.

You can buy a 2TB NVMe drive for $75, if you are comfortable opening the machine yourself and would rather not return and setup a new one again. I don't know but I'd assume most laptops still have a second slot open, so you could add 1 TB for super cheap.

From programming, is the dell inspiron 14 plus for $699 (below) a better deal? No gaming and never looked for i9, but found this Asus deal catchy.
Any advice ?

How's the build quality of these Vivobooks vs Zenbooks? Any other differences?

Doesn't matter. I upgraded the Asus i7 with a 2TB SN850X using WD software. It was shockingly EASY and took less than 10 mins. Works flawlessly. Cost just $90 and now I have a spare 512gb drive.

You will not see any benefit with it. Thermals! Perhaps 3 seconds of burst before throttling. Unless you have a VERY specific use case for it, the Asus is equal, Assuming you don't mind swapping nvme.

Cool, I like the numberpad on the mouse pad. Lol first time seeing that

EDIT: Lol nvm, I research more about it "absolutely pointless. You have to look at the touchpad to use it because there is no haptic feedback."
