This is exactly the kind of thing that grinds my gears! Like why even bother saying it if you're not interested in telling us the reason you did what you did!
$24.99 - $10.00 for one box of 2 sets of 100 at my warehouse. So approximately $30.00 for two boxes of 4 sets of 100 in-warehouse, or get a 4-pack of 100 online and save $10.00. Note that the item numbers are different, probably because the in-warehouse is one box of 2 sets and online is 4 sets, but looks to be the same lights. I just ordered online after picking up two boxes at my warehouse the other day. I already have to return some other items this week, so seemed like a no-brainer.
Proprietary ends kinda kills this, really stinks to not be able to connect in other stuff it looks like? Not sure

This seems like a good price for outdoor Christmas lights before the season? $7.50 for a 33' length. I'm no expert on this stuff.

Was about to bite but these appear to have a proprietary connection at the ends...aka won't connect to other standard light sets.

We've had these for over 10+ years for our tree, and still going strong. No they cannot connect to other sets, but they are a great value.

So the comment in the features section stating "you can connect up to 36 sets" is wrong? Has anyone purchased them this year to see if they've changed them?

Why did you stick with Philips over these?

You can cut the end off with the pair of scissors and use a couple wire nuts and hook the line to something else

The 1 star review on the Costco website confirms that:

Most string lights have a female plug at the end. These have a different kind of female plug that makes it to where you can only use them with each other.

The white setting is not very warm compared to other LEDs I have.

The wire strands look just plain bad compared to my other lights as well. The 3 strand are not twisted together very well and as a result they splay out, maing the wire look sloppy and the light bulbs stick out at all different angles.

Are these actually "flicker free"? I've been holding off on LED string lights because I'm sensitive to the flicker.
