The price on this TV has been going down every week for the last few weeks. $1352, $1182, $1119, and now this.
I bought it for $1352 + $650 for the q990 sound bar. I got a price adjustment the first time, but the csr didn't let me do it for the second time.
This is a terrible TV. I wanted to return it, but past the return date.

It uses the Quantum processor lite found in the q60c so it is probably similar to that one even though the msrp is more like the q70c.

Thanks friend! Got one of the 70" version. Was able to use the EDU discount and get the Chase CC reward of $51. Chatted with CS and got the 2 year warranty fee waived. Took a long time on chat but got it done. My total was just over $700 with tax. $657 without. Then take off the $51 and it is a great deal!

With EDU discount it's $1050. I had a chat with customer rep and they provided me a 10% code which brought it down to $945+ tax

Chat support offered either 10% or the 2yr care+ warranty and said they couldn't do both. How did you get them to combine in one order?

They say what they want. My rep said you seem to already have a great discount. Then said the 10% was time limited and expired. Then magically said oh wait I just found a free 2 year warranty promo that she applied. Wouldn't budge on the 10% off still claiming it was expired despite someone having posted getting it 90 minutes before our chat. Then you post that it's somehow still available after my rep chat but unable to be combined.

Gotta do the cancel trick. Say you found an open box locally for less and they'll knock off the 10%.
