Meh, the open world was basically a level select and really tied down the variety. Was still very good, but SA2 really came alive.
Also, SA1 does not have City Escape..so by definition it is worse.

This game is so amazing. As kid, I had no idea if this game was even good andit was just a random purchase but it ended up being amazing and everyone else seems to agree. I love my chao garden they were my pets when I wasn't allowed to get one IRL.. lol sorry just had to say it

This game was on sale for a dollar quite a few times on PC. It's still a great game, the PC port is a bit messed up though.


Also, this is sort of off topic, but on topic for gaming. The PC decompile of Perfect Dark is done. You can play native PC port of Perfect Dark now, with mouse and keyboard controls.
