Immersive and intuitive control. With 6DoF tracking available in the controller, VR navigation and hand motions are highly intuitive and immersive. The pressure-sensitive trigger further provides enhanced interaction and manipulation of objects in virtual environments. Combined with the 6DoF-supported headset, users can seamlessly interact with virtual environments and truly appreciate the freedom of untethered VR.
Enhanced VR visuals. Lots of standalone devices come with trade-offs - especially when it comes to visual quality. Not the VIVE Focus Plus. Users will be able to see even more details in excellent clarity with reduced ring effects thanks to advanced lenses.
Comfort for extended usage. The VIVE Focus Plus is more balanced, more comfortable, and rests easier on users' heads. Its soft, easy-to-clean material makes it ideal for high-usage environments.
In the Box:
(1) HTC Vive Focus Plus 6DOF VR Headset
(2) Controllers
(1) Face Cushion
(1) Charging Cable
Hey quick heads up since you bought one from Woot. Drop an email to Woot customer support, include the link to MicroCenter's listing for $149.99, and ask if they would price match. They did for me and refunded me the difference.
Thanks, no luck on my end. Must depends who takes the email: "
We're sorry, but we're unable to offer price matching or price guarantees on the products we sell. We simply try to offer the lowest price on the Internet for the day."

Ah, sorry to hear. Worth a shot. Guess this is YMMV kinda thing

I requested to cancel given the lower price at MC and they refunded $50 without me asking the second time in hopes I keep the order! It hasn't shipped yet, over 3 days is usually long wait time for WOOT. Thanks again for the suggestion !
Just wondering did anyone's order ship? Mine says "shipping Now" for one week. One thing I don't like about Woot is you have a short time frame to cancel before the "preparing to ship" status. However a week of "shipping now' isn't now, pending charge went to charged a week ago.

Mine still says "Preparing to ship". The estimated arrival date is yesterday.

Funny enough, it shipped this morning and then arrived a few hours later. Apparently, it was in a warehouse in my city the whole time.
So this won't fit one out of twenty users? That's a twenty or twenty five percent chance of it not fitting someone in the average household. I hope they have a good return policy.
OK, I just got mine and I have a huge head and it fits heads much larger than mine, so those stats must mean you can't put this on a baby's head.
This doesn't seem like a problem, but I'll entertain your concern. That 5% must be spread out between both extremes, so one out of forty people will have heads too big, and one out of forty people will have heads too small. The people with heads too big are used to not having headwear fit them, so they'll probably be cautious when buying something that goes on their head. The people with heads too small can still wear the device, they just may need to wear a hat or a headband under the unit.
You know if your head is a watermelon, a grape, or in between.
Most people can purchase it without a worry, and those with any doubt can no purchase it.
In for 1. Works wirelessly with a PC, you get two cordless 6DOF controllers, and there are no cords at all. I had the first PS VR and didn't like the cords.
Not looking for a huge VR investment, so to be able to link this to my PC and play some VR games on Steam sounds like a good deal.
FYI, you don't need to subscribe to HTC app to connect it wirelessly to your PC. You can use RiftCat. The app costs $10 flat-fee and their webpage confirms HTC Vive Focus Plus works: https://riftcat.com/vridge
I tried RiftCat VRidge last night and wasn't impressed. I may still buy it, but I also see that Virtual Desktop is available on the viveport store. If it works without having to pay the monthly or annual infinity subscription, I'd probably prefer that route, despite it being twice the price. I didn't mess with the settings much, but VRidge had some distortion and the audio didn't work. I'm sure I can get the audio to work, but I don't need the distortion. Most people seem to approve of Virtual Desktop.
Let me know how your experience goes. I'm traveling until Monday, so I won't be able to mess with this much until then. As it stands, this seems to be best for using with the Vive SDK software. I can see there are some enterprise features, like Kiosk mode. You can sideload andriod apps and use them in that mode, but that doesn't appeal to me much. You can pack a microsd card with various media, so it could be good for 3D movies and "other media". It may be correct that saving your money for the new Quest is a better idea. I'm considering selling my two headsets and using that to buy the new Quest, so I'm wondering if you're enjoying the device.
I still haven't received, it finally did ship but then got delayed again. It will be over 2 weeks which is crazy for WOOT. I should have it next week.
I'll report back once I test it out. I don't mind tinkering. I have a Google Daydream Mirage Solo Google essentially bricked 2 years after release leaving us to explore (Google seems to give up on most cool projects it seems).

If you have AMD GPU then use AMD Link, it's free and works well on this, tested Beat Saber through AMD Link and it was fine.
However outside of that, the native Vive store is really weak.
