Might be good to understand this is a DLP projector and may eventually have stuck pixel issues, especially if exposed to hot environments or lots of dust (which I would expect a portable to encounter).

Looks like a 4k version of the wemax vogue pro. Even the lumen count is the same. I'm sure the technology in the Hisense is better in some ways but this seems kinda pricey for what it is. https://www.wemax.com/products/vogue-pro

Lumens isn't everything, but could be the deciding factor in your usage. But in mine, hisense c1 overall is a better projector. The youtube video on op's post explains it much better than I could.

I wanted a tv replacement that I could move between my living room and bedroom, and shortlisted c1, jmgo n1 ultra, formovie x5 and waiting for their price to drop during black Friday. considering last time its price dropped to $1750, I don't think price will drop any lower for tri laser projectors during BF. none of these projectors are suitable to use in bright rooms with blinds open. I already have set up blackout blinds in all my windows. so for my use case such projectors would be perfect.

sounds good. primarily want to use projector to watch movie in low light setting. just hoped the response time is better so I can play PS5 sports game. But I guess it is probably not possible at this price point.

the input lag on this projector is weak. but there are projectors with faster response rates at this price point, but in those models (for example: Nomvdic p1000), you may have to sacrifice something else like brightness, color, etc.
