Companies price match and manufacturers set sale prices as well.

It does go on sale for this price several times a year, but it is not normally it is not this price and usually the sales are not for all colors.

Based on what I've read, it seems like some people still have a double click issue with this mouse. Always some risk of double clicking with mechanical switches.

Been keeping an eye out for this mouse on Amazon for a while and saw that it dropped today and other retailers had it at the same price so I figured I'd include them all here. This is the ATL according to CCC and it appears to only come down to this price once or twice a year.

I've had a couple of these and they all double clicked eventually. It's a great mouse though, great shape, light, and the battery lasts many months at a time. I'm actually a little surprised people are saying they've had them for nearly 3 years without developing the double click, it happens pretty consistently.

The only sure fix is to replace the switch. It used to be that would involve soldering, but it's a such popular mouse with such a consistent flaw that now you can buy a replacement switch+pcb+assembly on Ali3xpress for around $5, or Amazon for ~$15 that doesn't need any solder to swap in. Just a screwdriver. Is that worth doing for a $30 mouse? I don't know, but if you already have one, it cuts down on e-waste slightly.

A similar mouse is the razer orochi v2, which occasionally (not now) is $35-40 on sale. Much more satisfying clicks (compared to default g305), slightly smaller shape, but the battery is days to weeks instead of many months like it is on the g305. The orochi also adds a a Bluetooth option whereas the g305 is only the USB dongle.

How does this compare to the MX series for productivity?..looks like a similar profile but I'm sure there are differences, perhaps weight distribution and precision?

Smaller for one, not quite as ergonomic.

Why does this post say that this was published to the front page 9 mins ago when it has been on frontpage since yesterday morning/afternoon PST? That is deceptive marketing. You're better than that Slickdeals.

Does this model have that double click issue or has it been fixed?
My brother and I both bought these at the same exact time around 3 years ago, both of our mice developed double clicking within the 2 year warranty period and Logitech sent us new ones. His replacement has already begun to double click after about a year, mine hasn't but I only used it for a few months before switching to the Orochi V2.

So, 3 out of 4 with double clicking issues. Obviously, everyone will have different experiences but that's been ours.

Is there a remedy for double-click?
Mine started this after 2 years.
Is Logitech fixing the problem out of warranty?
No real remedy for double clicking. You can replace the switches yourself to something better and that would solve the issue.

Good shape and feel, really light, battery lasts 6 months or more gaming. Paid 30 last nov. Only problem I have is that resolution changes in mid game randomly. This is my daily driver

I had two of these, they both developed the double click after about 2 years. These regularly go on sale for about $35 around the year.

I believe all mice with mechanical switches are susceptible to double click issues (although Logitech might be doing something that makes it worse). I can only add the data point that I've used it daily for 23 months and no double click issues so far. It's a great size / feel, with easily adjustable DPI and performs like a wired mouse. The batteries last around 6 months for me. The only negative I'd say is the clicks are loud.

I had the wired version of this mouse. Looks identical besides having a wire. It developed a double click issue after 4 years. It might just be a specific part that logitech uses.
