This. Also, some accounts like mine you can't even order online because it will give an error on checkout saying your payment can't be processed. I just went to filter games that were $15-$16 and the filter by price option has been removed. Always something with GS that makes the buying experience less than pleasant.

You can look at a store's inventory on the website by clicking the 3 lines then the store. Scroll down and you can filter by categories but you can't use the search bar. I double dipped my $5 monthly coupon with this. I also used up All my rewards points because I'm not renewing my membership. You won't be able to use $5 monthly on digital credits starting on December

Online quantity subtracts one from what they have on hand (so if they have 1, it will show up out of stock). It's to prevent them from selling an item in store before they can pull it off the shelf for your online order.

You can, it's just that the monthly coupons (and reward certs) don't stack with certain promos (ie 50-75% off deals)

Source for not being able to use monthly rewards for currency after December? Maybe you saw an article where they briefly tried this last year but reinstated it?

Used my $5 monthly to buy a $10 switch card (as I do every month) over the weekend at a GS in Central FL and the employee relayed the same info. "Just wanted to let you know next month you won't be able to use your $5 credit towards digital currency".

Had around $250 in pro membership bucks in a stash, changed my card on file for a renewal, said it didn't go through and it canceled my membership and flushed all my points. Called, got told to fuzz off. Not that I would have shopped at Gamestop again, but, really shows how desperate they are for any form of financial health.

Every store in my town is ran by a 20 something depressed mouth breather who is there for what appears to be time killing and minimal knowledge.

Ask for something.
"let me check" Clicks on computer "Doesnt look like we have it"
I check the shelf for 5 minutes and find 3 of them.
"Hm, where'd you find that?"
MF!? Take a guess.

That sucks. They briefly tried this last year, but reinstated it so quickly that I never even ran into the new policy. They later made it so you had to buy at least $10 of currency to redeem your $5. I didn't mind that since I was still getting it for half off. If they stick to this new policy, I will cancel both of my family's memberships. No reason to keep it going at that point.
