How so? They are all the same if using LATCH, no? You just click the pair to the hooks in your seat and done.

For that reason it is not good. Buy the walmart one for that. Cosco next or something. This one is great for daily use but pretty heavy but Cosco one is pretty lightweight

Would this be good to travel with? I'm looking for a car seat that isn't the heaviest and can be checked in easily.

How does this compare to the Evenflo Revolve 360 that was posted earlier also at Target?

Revolve is better for comfort. but the price is more than double when compared to this.

Agree 100%! Hauled this thing thru 4 airports (we used it on the flights) and will never do it again. Its heavy and the base wouldn't let me strap it to my carry-on luggage. Hopefully next time we fly he will be old enough to sit in his seat without it.

What travel car seat would you recommend? I currently have the Chicco keyfit 30 and use it to travel.

The mechanism to tighten can be different. Especially with a seatbelt install. Some are super easy to get very tight, some need a 400 pound gorilla to get tight enough.

Installed properly, there should be very little side to side movement if you lift at the front of the seat

Thanks for the note. I'm just going to ship this to my mom's house so when we travel there we will have it waiting for us and not lug it around.

The Walmart Cosco Scenera Next for smaller kids: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-.../534841958

It's super light-weight and gets good safety ratings.

Good move...FYI take lots of snacks or drinks for takeoff and landing. We were good the first 3 flights with him equalizing, but on the flight home, we left him sleep as long as we could...big mistake! He woke up screaming and didn't stop until we got to about 5,000-10,000 ft. Otherwise, flights went well. Miss Rachel helped a lot! Good luck...and don't stress too much...just add a little time to get thru security unless you have precheck.
