Unfortunately, it seems that if it's under $400, no backlit keyboard. That's often the case with ones above $400, too. The op did a good job by actually mentioning this; most deal posts don't. I won't buy without backlit, either.

Thanks for a great find! Which configuration is better? Intel i5-1235U or Ryzen 7 5700U?
The SSD is bigger and processor seems to be a little faster (based on benchmark). I don't know about the graphics, though.

So why there is no option for the USB C port? Looks nice but would be great the USB port to attach a dock for energy and data.

Nvm read a lot about the hinge issue and now this laptop sound like an expensive issue.

I am seeing a cashback site that is now giving 11% cash back for Dell. So may even get additional $40.70 discount.

My American express card also has $40 discount for purchase $200+ at Dell.

If all of these discounts stack, it's possible this laptop can only cost $289 + tax.

Not worth the time and possibly risking the warranty. Better to pay a little bit extra and buy a laptop with a backlit keyboard.

If you want a better graphic card, go with a Ryzen chip. Intel tends to be better with power consumption and less CPU heating.
