Dim low-resolution screen(with excellent color range), terrible battery life, huge footprint (even for an 18" laptop), and you can't charge it with USB-C.
Acer and Asus make 18" gaming laptops that are better on all 3 of those points.

Has 2 Thunderbolt 4 Type C ports - so it should be able to deliver power.

Nobody use this laptop for the function you referred

It can deliver power to other devices(aka: charge your phone rapidly), but you can't charge the laptop by plugging a USB PD charger into the laptop USB C ports.
This is supported on Acer, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer laptops.
While you wouldn't use this while gaming at your desk, it's great for use on the go.
I don't think the 10% off code will work on this. Like we found out on one of the Dr.'s other deals this morning, the Limited Time/Quantity Deals are excluded from the 10% coupon code.

In other words, charging via USB-C is lower voltage and is good enough to keep the laptop going doing non-gaming things, or even slow charge the laptop overnight.
My Dell Alienware X15R2 can be charged via USB-C, just slower than the 240W brick it comes with. Are we sure this m18 can't do the same?
Any laptop in this class will have a 300W+ charger and that does not exist yet in USB-C. Heck, 240W is barely making a show now.

This is correct, but you do get windows hello, vs. Asus has 0 biometrics. Trade off.

Correct. The m line doesn't support it, but the x line does, although the x line has soldered ram.

But... USB4 extended range has a max wattage of 240W ... so it depends on the specs of these ports
"With USB PD, up to 240 W of power is possible with 'Extended power range' (5 A at 48 V). For 'Standard Power range' up to 100 W is possible (5 A at 20 V)."

True, the spec supports it, but no laptops support it yet. Maybe next year?
I think Lenovo Legion at 140 Watt charging over USB C is the most available, but that's using a proprietary amp/voltage configuration.
Acer, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer gaming laptops support 100watt charging from any brand of USB charger that can handle that.
Not sure why Alienware decided to leave that out. Other Dell laptops have supported charging over USB for several years now.

Ironically Dell (which owns Alienware) also has incorporated usb-c charging exceeding 100W for a while now too. However that may have been proprietary...
