Honestly, I didn't realize that BBY dropped the normal price to $620. As mentioned in OP, I searched, found the BBY deal at $600 with a $50 or $180 membership and thought it might interest someone.

I've dealt with Asus post-purchase support and it was fine. I've not dealt with their website shop support. $20 for peace of mind if you want an easier return holds value.

I'd imagine a deal for BF will pop up, too.

I bought a open box new legion go at bestbuy for $630 plus tax for the 1tb model instead. Bb had open box excellent ally for $450 at one point as well. I stayed away from the ally due to poor battery life and micro sd issues. That being said the go seems to be having software issues as well. Luckily bestbuy holiday return policy is until January 14

I've been waiting to bite on these deals and get either the ally or legion but I haven't yet just because I know their 2nd or 3rd generation iterations will be insane. Props to early investors so we can keep these products coming.

Aren't problems expected when new tech releases? but after a few versions & years later, new improvements & better specs, then it'll be worth to buy.
