The hacking on this is not as good for tools. Comes out to $112 or something for the blower or inflator and $187 for bot batteries if you return the tool. Not bad to get into the HO batteries but not quite 12ah run time.
I look at this blower as convenience vs dealing with two cycle blower just to blow off the patio and area around the back door.

5a batteries will only run for 5minutes. Need 12a for the blower to make it useful
Agree. Had the 5Ah battery with this and it would overheat or run out of juice before even completely drying off my truck. Upgraded to the 8Ah High Output (which apparently has better heat management) and haven't had any issues.

This is what I have been saying in other threads. Milwaukee has issues with OPE overheating. Ego does not…
Not to mention, Ego performance is much higher than Milwaukee. 200 mph blower, which is the fastest handheld blower on the market.

I am such a fan of the M18 lineup, but this is the biggest mistake milwaukee has ever made, unless you have the 8A or higher batteries.
I finally gave up using this and sold it on marketplace. My ego works amazing for grass clippings. Still no match for a big gas powered stihl or echo for fall cleanup.
So? It has been 56v for like 8 years, since the beginning. Shows Milwaukee is living in the past. It was a smart move for Ego to start at a higher voltage.
Notice Milwaukee is doing two battery compartment OPE, now? Nice setup for orphaning tools when they decide to go to a new battery platform in the future.
Dewalt was smart, and made Flexvolt backward compatible. How is Milwaukee going to achieve that with double battery tools in the future?
only 413 more to go. these garbage posts keep triggering my notifications for actual good deals. need to see if i can exclude home depot from notifications because their deals are trash, but clueless people keep thinking they are good and keep posting them
