Man, at 1k, the value proposition is still out of whack. This is a lifestyle product like B&O speakers so it asks that you appreciate aesthetics over performance. It's a good set up for sure, but the asking price is luxury/lifestyle first as opposed to sound quality first.

Amps inside speakers is such a bad idea. These digital amps don't last forever and then your speakers are dead too. Get an unpowered (passive) speaker and a Fosi Audio V3. If you want more power pick up the 48V adapter for it. This is a much, much better option.

Hard to find an audiophile level power amp, streamer and speakers for $1000.
These power amps are matched to the speakers by some of the best audio engineers in the world.
I've heard these paired with a couple of different subs.
For ppl on the fence, I bought the LSX I for my pc casual listening, paring with an old REL T series small sub. I can tell and feel the difference. Keep asking myself WHY I have waited so long. So, if you are comfortable with the price tag. Give it a try, as I didn't regret it.

You should avoid these like the plague, 1st gen had terrible repair-ability and warranty servicing and the app updates stopped after a while. $250 plus shipping cost to repair out of warranty. Company suggests to just buy the new version. I foresee this same situation happening with the new version once the capacitors die after a few years. I think the sound quality is good but not worth the risk of failure a few years down the road. There are better and more serviceable options for speakers, I would suggest avoiding the all in one, wireless, powered style for a traditional receiver speaker combo. That way you can service or replace just one component of the system vs. having them all fail at once.
I have the Ls50 wireless ii. It's so good even my two year old can tell the difference between the kef and the Sonos arc with sub and play set up I have. But like other commenters have said-these are lifestyle speakers. They are fabulous and high quality, but 50% of what you pay is for intangibles that only some expert maybe able to tell. At this price you are paying outside money for marginal improvements that few people can recognize/discern. But the speakers are beautiful and will likely last a decade or more.

Those are different speakers and a big step up.
These speakers here are⦠okay. I would build out a system with passives over these using something like a WIIM to stream.
They're beautiful and convenient but I returned mine due to QC issues. Customer service was absolutely no help. Went separates and it's more cables but I'm happy.
