the oled was $290 by monoprice about two weeks ago.

OLED is 350, game is 60 MSRP or cheaper at GameStop used. You're getting game for free with bundle. 300 is the non OLED switch with no game.

That's largely speculative on the price isn't it? IF it is that price it will also be a far more powerful console and it won't be long before you won't be able to play the new games.
The diskless PS5 is $400 so it's unlikely this will be more than that.

No we haven't, we heard rumors of a switch pro (and got the switch OLED) but as far as a new console, that's new outside of trash rumor mills. Nintendo has a 6-7 year cycle so it's incredibly likely its coming

Why are you so sour?

That's sound advice. My son hasn't touched his switch in 3 years and he's 10. He has all of the hit games, but he rather game on his pc.

So I've been a Nintendo fan since 1993 and I have the Zelda OLED switch which is a beautiful design, I also have the game that's included with this bundle and it's in my top five games of all time. I just cannot understand why this is getting so much attention for several reasons, including butt ugly design and not even a 3 month expansion pass.

Also, Nintendo switch is a very old technology and a new console will be released next year.

If I wanted the Switch OLED with Smash in time for Christmas, I would buy this. It's a fair price. I bought mine 2 years ago with no game for $350.

If I didn't care about Smash, I would try to get one around Black Friday for $300.

The Switch launched in March of 2017, so it may launch at an odd time as Nintendo is known to do.

I think this is it… and I was in that boat. Way late to the party but wanting to buy so this represents a reasonable "deal" compared to any other current offers for new US retail. Sure maybe not great and all the other caveats (new system coming etc) but lol they'll be saying that a better deal will be coming as soon as the new system is out!-P
