Alright I'm going to stop by my local Costco while getting gas because that's a good price for a 2-pack USB-C cable.

If anyone is wondering, the model on the cable is B80F6. I cannot find it on Anker's website but on Amazon's page it says 5Gbps.

Nope. The page literally says "USB 2.0" for the 6-foot version.

USB 2.0 is slow at 480 Mbps. Real life max speed is about 35 MB/s. That's 10 times slower than USB 3.0, and 80 times slower than Thunderbolt 4.

It requires more-expensive parts inside to make higher-speed cables communicate farther than 3.3 feet, so cheap, longer-than-3.3' cables are almost always USB 2.0.

Too bad no other color besides black.
Black cables are hard to find in the car, bedroom, carpet, etc.

Can't post this as a deal due to SD rules, but I love the Soopii LED display USB-C charging cables. Now they have a 240W, USB4 40Gbps cable [a.co] for about $18 after coupons. High power charging plus USB 4 40Gbps data.
What rules prevent you from posting here on SD?

If you are upgrading from 100w for future proofing don't…. This is the exact same as a 100w cable. Cable only matters for amps, either 3 amps or 5 amps depending on the gauge of the power wires. A 5 amp cable will do 100w and 240w. The newer usb devices will just use higher voltage. Your 100w cable is already 5 amps and will do 240w with the right devices that don't exist currently.

I don't get these deals. Just go on Aliexpress and get a cable for 240w for $1.99 (or less), with free shipping on $10 using their Superdeals section.
If you really wanted, you could get five 240w cables (in various lengths from 1-5m) for $5 less than this deal. Shipping takes roughly two weeks, but it's worth it.

I've ordered a few cables from there and the quality has really been great. Way better than what I can get in any retail store, at a fraction of the price.

Not a shill account, just sharing my 2c.
Guarantee the quality of the cable isn't way better than a retail store. Also, those cheap electronics and cables are what sets houses on fire

High-end gaming laptops.
6ft cord ain't great if you are using it for a laptop. Unless you're sitting next to the outlet, probably won't be long enough

These are really meant for phones. You can use it to charge a laptop but its data speed is limited to USB 3. No way is this USB 4 and definitely not Thunderbolt. USB C cables are a mess. Buyer beware.

I bought these cables in impulse last weekend when I saw them at this price. Tested them to recharge my Anker 747 powerbank (rated max 140w input/output) with a 100w charger and the cables are actually slower than the included short 140w cable from the 747 powerbank. Not sure why though and if the length of the cable matters.
