Nope. The page literally says "USB 2.0" for the 6-foot version.

USB 2.0 is slow at 480 Mbps. Real life max speed is about 35 MB/s. That's 10 times slower than USB 3.0, and 80 times slower than Thunderbolt 4.

It requires more-expensive parts inside to make higher-speed cables communicate farther than 3.3 feet, so cheap, longer-than-3.3' cables are almost always USB 2.0.
You are correct, I compared to my other other cable, it's showing as 42.2 Mb/s compared to my other cable at 800+ Mb/s

For some reason the amazon app page on the phone shows the spec as 5Gb/s compared to the desktop which I cannot find the specs at all. (see screenshots)

I want one for the Tesla
Level 1 or Level 4 charging? Do you want to have a portable powerbank to generate level 4 power? 🤪

It's more of a future proofing thing right now. Also, it could be useful for 16" MBP since that can charge up to 140W and a lot cables are 100W or below.
Unfortunately the only way to charge a MBP at 140w is via magsafe for now. The usb-c ports only accept up to 100w PD.

The only device I've got right now that will take advantage of this is the Anker 737. The cord that came with it is short. These are nice because I can charge the bank at full speed and are long enough to be single purpose.

Weird, the desktop browser site for me clearly says "USB 2.0." Thanks for verifying the data throughput. It's not a "bad" deal per se, but I'm hoping we see more deals like last year's deal for a USB-IF certified 90-Watt wall charger PLUS a well-made 8' 100-watt USB 2.0 cable for $10 total. The extra 2' in length makes a difference in my laptop setup at home.

I bought this today and have it in front of me, -- nowhere inside or out of the box, packaging, product, or anything else is any sort of transfer speed or USB "version" for data mentioned - besides indicating "USB power delivery 3.1"

Hopefully they're really USB 3 for data
I did the same. Wife brought one home and I turned the box front and back. LOTS of stuff about plants and saving oil and all (wonder how much oil was used to farm those plants?), but nothing about speed. However, from Amazon "This USB-C cable does not support media display or compatibility with USB-A wall chargers. Supports USB 2.0 for efficient data transfers."
Really, we shouldn't have to struggle so hard to find the specs. Costco will get this one back. <sigh>

Curious if this is any better than the one in Amazon Anker USB C Cable, New Nylon USB C to USB C Cable (2Pack, 6ft, 60W/3A), for iPhone 15 Charger Fast Charging Cable, for iPad Mini 6/ Pro 2021, iPad Air 4, MacBook Pro 2020, Samsung Galaxy S23 and More https://a.co/d/3wLCbQf which is $12.59?

What would one do with a 240W USB-C cable? Is there even any product out there now that can be charged with 240W via USB-C?

I see in the pictures, the back of the box shows a phone being charged with a caption of "fast-charging up to 240W"! Which phones charge @ 240W?
Charge an Electric Vehicle with it. From 0 to 80% in a blink of an eye.

can i connect a windows laptop with thunderbolt and a desktop with thunderbolt as well and transfer files between two PCs (just to test my cables)?

i never done that, i usually transfer from PC to usb drive, but i don't want to risk anything first, so i ask question first.

thanks

Any good multi-port adapters so can do 100W charging of a laptop and 45W charging of two devices simultaneously?
A two pack would be even better.
All these fast wires but no adapters wth.

Those are shit quality, anker is not. I'd rather buy 2 cables once, than 2 cables 17 times.
Aliexpress cables are more of a coin toss as to whether they're safe. Anker's cables should be safe. Many of Anker's USB cables use cheap aluminum coated copper, so the quality of their conductors may be as bad as or worse than the Aliexpress cables.

FYI. While this might be a fast charge cable, it definitely isn't a high speed cable. I bought it for the iPhone 15 PM, and the transfer speed was crap.
