Not the same but I bought the version with Android TV on BF in 2019 for $250. It wasn't in my main room so it was not used heavily, but it did it's job. It was fine for the price point

Philips has long been obsolete in the TV space. No one should be buying a Philips TV anymore. I'm amazed they haven't exited the market. TV brands that were once big, like Philips, RCA, JVC and others from 2 or 3 decades ago, have been so far surpassed that it's silly to buy them. Especially since you can get better TVs for the same price.
Name a better brand 65 QLED at this price, with a 3 year warranty.

They already 'exited the market' a few decades ago. The brand along with Magnavox has been licensed out to Funai for a long time now.

Not sure about current quality but we bought a 47 inch 1080P Philips LCD TV for our business back in 2008 at Samsclub. That thing ran for close to 9 years (24/7) in a commercial environment where we didn't turn it off at all for the CCTV system. Eventually the power supply died but the picture was clear till the day it died with no backlight fading or picture quality degradation. We replaced it with a Samsung which has been just as reliable these past 6 years.

Realize my experience may be one instance but I had decent experience with their TV despite being an off-brand Funai set. Can't say the same for many TCL or Hisense units these days even

I doubt this has any of the S6's better features.

People are sleeping on this but it's a good TV for the price. Wish they had free shipping, don't have a car big enough.

They've been my go to budget TV brand since 2020. I've had no issues with their 65", 55" or 43" Roku OS non QLED TVs.

Funai has had the license for Philips/Magnavox brands since late 2000's in the Americas. They also are behind Sanyo.
Funai is also the number one Japanese seller of TVs in the US. Just goes to show how the market is now ruled by South Korean and Chinese manufacturing.

I bought this tv today, Hung it and set it up. So far so good. Picture is great and set up was super easy. For $400 I'm not complaining. I'm not a tv snob but for a basement tv for kids to watch movies and game this was a solid choice.

I bought one in Feb of 2024 and it died last week. Philips just refunded my purchase price and I'm on the hunt for a new TV.
