The Venture Bros. Complete Series is on sale in Digital HDX for $59.99. I have seen it normally for $79.99. It could possibly sell for less in the future, but I pulled the trigger on $60.

I have seen awesome deals at apple, but I have not been able to figure out how to make a purchase. I don't own any apple devices and every time I click on a link for a deal posted on SD the webpage provides no add to cart links. I have bought some movies and applied the digital codes to my apple account and I have not logged in for a couple years. The movies are not in the account anymore. I am not impressed with apple. The exclusivity of the software and devices apart from third party accessibility is a true turn off. I am not happy with VUDU either. They have no way of securing an account beyond a password. Vudu does not even have a email security feature built-in. If a customer leave an account logged in to a computer web browser and walks away all a thief needs is the password and they can change the account password. They don't even have to loggin to the accounts email to verify a password change.
apple for sure does have ease of purchase issues for anybody that does not have an apple device. If you don't, pretty much your only other option is having itunes installed on a PC or Microsoft device. I use a PC.
If they would allow purchases through the apple tv app, then that would eliminate this issue. Maybe they will eventually.
Not sure about your movies or tv shows. Maybe you used a different account? Try using the apple tv app on a different device like an android phone and logging into your apple account on there. See if your stuff is showing up in your librabry.
I pretty much stopped buying anything on vudu once they made downloads mobile only. Do I really own the tv show or movie if I can only watch it on a tiny screen? Nah done with vudu which is a shame because I have so much content on there.

The Apple TV app is a available on other devices say a Roku to watch things. As for these recent awesome deals being able to buy them on a non Apple device using iTunes on a Windows computer should work and has for me. As for older purchases not appearing on your account? Reach out to Apple support directly they legitimately do a good job and can get to the bottom of it.

I was actually thinking about purchasing dedicated micro sd cards to backup vudu content. Using an old samsung phone and screen sharing the mobile content.
What ia Vudu? If Vudu goes away would i still own this or would it go away as well?
Used to be owned by Walmart. Walmart sold it and now Fadango owns it. It's honestly been going downhill for years. They used to do regular credit promotions, have cheap movie conversions, allow downloads on non mobile devices. I mean it's good enough and their free with ads content is stronger these days, but it used to be my favorite digital library builder and now it is one of my least favorite.
Vudu likely won't go away or would be bought off or merged. But who knows. You can always download the show on a tablet I guess even if they went away tonight and always have it assuming the app still works.
