Personally, I thought this fight on top of a moving train was slick since it was (apparently) done on an actual moving train and shot in the day, as Cruise likes real action. I think you're referring to the ridiculous CGI-fest masquerading as Indiana Jones 5 where the phony train fight was shot in the dark to hide the moving train CGI.

That should be around this time in 2025, maybe 2026.

This movie was EPIC! I thought Fallout could not be topped but this one gives it a run for its money.

Yeah, I'm over all the magical face masks that look perfect. It was creative the first time they did it 10 years ago but in this movie I just cringed every time.

It had its moments for sure but as other have said the movies have started to jump the shark and I can no longer just go along with some of the ridiculous technology and action scenes. I've seen enough ridiculous fight scenes on top of a moving train to last a lifetime.

Can also rent for $6. Waiting for them to release part one and part two together before I buy.
I rent and then record using Playon. My Plex server now has over 5000 movies and TV shows,

I'll wait for physical disk+ digital code for 12.99.

Movie is crazy dumb sadly. Ever since the Part 2 they have gone downhill and instead just try big stunts as the centerpiece in each movie instead of a good story that isnt stupid af.

Agree. Tom Cruise, mumbles and sleepwalks through the movie. I kept waiting for it to get better, it never did.

Few people would agree I think with the exception of this I think mission was one of a few series that got better with each film.

I heard they intend to change the title of the sequel. So if this one is Dead Reckoning is the 2nd going to be renamed Dead on Arrival?

Watched this two nights ago. I honestly don't know why it had such rave reviews. There were a lot of issues with this movie, including the poor dialogue, and bad special effects in particular. Seriously, the CGI was subpar for a blockbuster released in 2023. The Star Trek movie from 2009 had better CGI.
