Good prices, the U7k is the sweet spot for price and quality. This is inevitably going to be asked, the U75k is just Costco's version, which undoubtedly is the same as all other versions (but better warranty, which is worth something). The promo is literally worthless to me, but you can always use it to test settings or ... something. They never give good games in these promos, give me AoE or something next time!

Can anyone comment on the UI interface's responsiveness on this set? The last Hisense I bought (about 3 years ago) was so slow it was unusable, ended up connecting an external Roku device.

^ its a good idea to connect a streaming media player to any tv regardless. Will always get better performance.

Using Apple TV gives better performance than any other team in any external device. It does seamless up scaling. In fact it's used in 90% of the home theatre setups as the video source

Just purchased a65" one as a gift for the in-laws a couple weeks ago they're loving it. I did a ton of research definitely a sweet spot for value/features. The only questionable part was longevity but with Costco warranty it should be good to go

I second this. I decided to treat myself to one apple tv in one room. It was so good that I instantly bought two more and ditched almost all my other devices. It's so much better than Roku, Chromecast, internal options etc.

In the same way that a TVs speaker is irrelevant because you just buy a sound bar or receiver, so too should you just get an apple tv on day one

Amazon [amazon.com] and Bestbuy [bestbuy.com] now have it (U7, not U75) for the same price, if you're not a Costco member. Buying from Costco will net you a better warranty and better return policy, if it's an option.

Also beware: While Costco says this price will be available until 11/27, supplies can run out.

This is the best deal on a 75" I've seen. There have been cheaper, but not of this quality.

Agreed... but it was not YMMV - it was just somewhat short-lived as they sold out relatively quickly. Neighbor got one a couple hours after I mentioned it to them.

FWIW, the Sony looks great.

However, if I needed/wanted a 75" TV right now, I'd most likely spring for this. Rtings has it rated slightly higher.
