Good prices, the U7k is the sweet spot for price and quality. This is inevitably going to be asked, the U75k is just Costco's version, which undoubtedly is the same as all other versions (but better warranty, which is worth something). The promo is literally worthless to me, but you can always use it to test settings or ... something. They never give good games in these promos, give me AoE or something next time!

Sorry it wasn't a YMMV. That might have been the $699 Costco deal which we all mourn to this day for not jumping on the second the deal went live lol. This 998 was a Walmart special that could be purchased online.

The rare instance of a tech pivot that my wife and I will both be happy with - I get (apparently significantly) better PQ and she doesn't have to look at 86" on the wall... Wink

Cancelled the lg as well! I wasn't too keen on having 100lbs on the wall. I hope this Hisense doesn't disappoint.

Normal Hisense manufacturer warranty is 2 years but buying Costco variant adds 1 year from what I've read. However, I see that the Costco listing contradicts itself because it says both 2 year warranty in one location, and 3 year warranty in another location on the same page.

Which is a better choice, this 75 inch U75K from Costco for $899 or the 75 inch R6 for $399? I really only use my TV for watching movies and sports. Will I have a major difference in experience for double the price?

Chat told me it's a 2 year warranty but you can purchase allstate to add onto it after manufacturer one is up. But Costco lists it as 3 year when you search TVs by warranty. So still not sure what is correct. Need to hear from someone that already purchased to see what their paperwork says??

Nobody knows for sure. If you go to the comments section in Rtings.com for the 75" U7K or the AVS forums for this model you will get widely different answers. Some swear it's a VA panel, others swear it's IPS.

People who work at Rtings have commented that they don't have an official answer on the U7K as Hisense has not replied to them. The U8K , beside everyone saying it, has an official response to Rtings that it is a ADS-IPS pro panel.
