Good prices, the U7k is the sweet spot for price and quality. This is inevitably going to be asked, the U75k is just Costco's version, which undoubtedly is the same as all other versions (but better warranty, which is worth something). The promo is literally worthless to me, but you can always use it to test settings or ... something. They never give good games in these promos, give me AoE or something next time!

I believe the 3 year warranty on the U75K series (Costco version) is a manufacturer's warranty. On the Hisense website the specs say 3 year warranty, while 2 years for the U7K (reg. retail version).

The box says 3 years. I called and Costco rep said total coverage is 5 years. I will try verifying again once I open and have actual serial number

I hope so - Also wondering if I can view this model anywhere in store? Would be nice to check it out in person before dropping nearly 1K. edit: nevermind, best buy has the 65" version on display, that should give me a good view of the TV even if it's the 65" model.

But I would much rather buy from Costco for the warranty.

Just installed. I gotta say pretty darn close to the Samsung s95b Oled I had die on me. Super satisfied! I got the 75, not sure what kind of panel, but either va or ips it looks amazing!

If it lasts, it will be the best tv I purchased.

Also it looks like these Hisense U75K's will qualify for an additional $50 off if you order online on Thanksgiving Day. At least this is what is indicated in the ad book that came in the mail. I believe all (3) sizes (55,65,75) will qualify for this promo on Thanksgiving Day only if I'm reading it correctly, lol. I guess the risk would be that they don't have stock in your area that day.

I set up the 55 over the weekend. Don't have an external box on it like so many have mentioned you should, but I'm shocked how poor the OS has been. Haven't even loaded many apps and keep apps in the background closed to free up resources and it still has all kinds of issues. Have had it miss button presses, switch apps randomly, do actions that wouldn't match to button presses while navigating app menus, etc. Anyone else having these kind of issues?

I got the 75 and haven't had any of the issues you mentioned. Was pleasantly surprised, since my last experience with a Hisense Google TV was less than steller (picture was good, OS was awful).

Quick question to anyone using it with an AVR: have you had any issues with ARC? I connected it to an Integra (Onkyo) HDMI v1.4a receiver and it doesn't recognize it (it turns the receiver on and off, but doesn't recognize that it supports ARC, even though the receiver is supposed to). This is only my second attempt at using ARC; my first, with a 2021 Sony TV and newer Pioneer receiver, was relatively painless.

Hmm I checked my ad book and don't see that. I see $899 as the lowest price for a 75" for example
