A pound of propane has 21.5K BTUs. If this puts out 58K BTUs/hr on high as it says, it'd burn 2.7 lbs of propane per hour. So a 20 lb tank from a grocery store (which usually only contains 15 lbs) would last about 5.5 hours.

A fully refilled 20 lb tank would last 7.5 hours. Again, that's on high. At lower settings it will last longer. And 58K might be optimistic. My "top-hat" style patio heater is rated for 41K BTU/hr. I'm having a hard time believing this has higher output.

Don't do this; buy a tank then exchange it.

The exchanged tanks are repurposed old tanks that have been recertified, it's cheaper to get it refilled, and even if you did exchange it it doesn't usually come with as much propane as if you get it refilled.

Convenience stores often sell propane. The full bottle goes for upwards of $40-$50 but then you just take the bottle back and exchange it for a full one and it's maybe $20 or so. I may be off some in my pricing but I should be reasonably close. Also I think Walmart may sell it as well. And some grocery stores. It's usually not too hard to find.

Yellowstone merch is getting out of hand but at least I see a lot of it going on clearance (grill, kitchen, towels, etc), waiting for it to hit rock bottom and buy out those ornery Duttons

21 in. x 21 in. x 14.5 in....on the smaller end for portability but plenty big for what it is.

I have the outlander version, which I paid at least 100 for. I've used it more than I thought I would.

I think it was for $30 in the store a month or two ago. Originally for $120 when it became available in spring and kept dropping in price steadily.

I returned and re-bought (unopened) multiple times.

FYI the URL didn't give me an option to place in cart or sign in for price. I was able to paste item name in the Costco app and purchase.

Got one, good reviews. Will be cool to use during these California winters and for s'mores for the kids
