Compared to the G2723HN, the G2723H has: a significantly higher refresh rate, being 280hz as opposed to 165hz, superior bit depth, being 10 bits (8 bits + FRC) as opposed to 8 bits (6 bits + FRC), higher brightness, being 400 cd/m² as opposed to 350 cd/m², a superior display port, being dp 1.4 as opposed to 1.2, 4 (downstream) usb ports, as opposed to none, and a stand capable of tilt, height adjustment, pivot, and swivel, as opposed to only tilt.
I personally consider 27" to be too large for a 1080p monitor, a ppi of 81.59 is far too low at average viewing distances imo. The most commonly stated recommendations for monitor size and resolution, which I happen to agree with, are: 24" at 1080p, 27" at 1440p, and 32" at 4k.

The G2723H is better but I personally wouldn't use the full 280Hz and a monitor arm is pretty cheap if you find the stand doesn't fit. Was much better at $80 last time with the AMEX deal.
